My name is Johan
Hi, I’m Johan, the owner of Fix Wiz, previously known as Express Handyman. My journey into the world of fixing things began at an early age when I discovered the joy of putting things back together—starting with a broken radio at the age of 10. To support my newfound hobby, my family gifted me a small tool kit, and a lifelong passion was born. That small kit quickly grew into a toolbox as I accumulated tools for various types of jobs and repairs. As I got older, I started helping around the house with small tasks, and soon, I was assisting family and neighbors with projects like hanging shelves and making small repairs.
I was fortunate to learn a great deal from my father and grandfather. While they weren’t professional handymen, they were knowledgeable and skilled in caring for tasks around the home. They instilled in me a hands-on approach and a respect for craftsmanship that I carry with me to this day.
Originally from Switzerland, I was raised with core values that I bring to my work: a strong work ethic, integrity, and discipline. These principles guide my business, and I only take on jobs that I am confident I can deliver to the highest standard, ensuring my clients’ satisfaction.
